Can you still get ephedra??

Seems like I read about people using the stack still, even though it's been banned. How in the crap can I get some??

It is in some OTC breathing meds. My local supplement store still has it - under an 'asthma treatment'. But it has gotten pricey.

Believe it or not - you can actually GROW it in your garden. It's a perenial, and I have 3 nice sized ephedra bushes in my backyard.

Green Ephedra (ephedra viridis)
Mau Huang (ephedra sinica)
Ephedra (ephedra nevadensis)

The seeds cost about $3.00

Ahh - I don't actually consume that much of it. I saw the seeds and thought it would be funny if I could grow it. I've had a couple of cups of tea from it, but that's about it.

So, I have ephedra going to waste in my garden. Maybe I should be selling it on the black market...

Seriously - I had 2 cups of tea last fall. Gave me the shakes - the equivelent of 6 cups of coffee. Haven't had any since. It's pretty, though. Nice flowers. Curiously, the insects don't go near it.
