First of all, I'm not going to insult you. So don't try to get me to.
Secondly, to answer your question. Here are some facts for you. I have known three dudes (who are "gay") who were busted for molesting children. How is that for facts? One was my boss six years ago. One was a coworker who was gay and molested his "gay" roomates kids. The third was (i'm ashamed to admit) my cousin on my dads side of the family who was a self proclamed queer who died in prison for molesting kids. Those are the facts. nothing speaks better that personal expirience. Three seperate cases over a 12 year period. Homosexuals are mentally ill people who need help not acceptance! Condoning this behavior endangers our society. That is why I find it to be a threat. I have to raise my kids in this culture.

It's more genetics and chemical than anything. I was trying to find the article, but it's pretty old, that stated that a person's sexuality could be a result of certain amounts of testosterone introduced to them when they were a fetus. I can't think my way out of being bald, 5'9", or the ability to put on muscle easily. I also can't think my way out of being an alcoholic. Normally, people that abuse children have had it done to them in the past. It's something that needs treatment as well as punishment. It doesn't condemn a whole group of people. Catholic priests would all be lynched by that logic.

Baldness is not a behavioral issue. Behavior CAN be modified no matter who you are. Alcoholism IS genetic it is also curable through treatment. I am sure that homosexuallity could be too. If our society would shift its focus from acceptance and condonement to treatment and quit indoctrinating the youth into thinking its cool. Is confusing them not helping them. I'm glad you brought up Catholicism. Here is a perfect example of an organization that doesn't confront and attempt to solve the problem but sweeps it under the rug and lets it get worse. I saw an interview in which a Catholic priest admitted to being gay an he, (a gay man himself )said that many gays join the priesthood so they can hide their problem hopeing that celebecy is the answer. But they eventually turn to children to gratify their urges and try to keep it secret at the same time.
 
I want to appologize for my first post on this thread. I'm a agressive person that is prone to hatred. An agressive nature is in my genetics. That doesn't make it ok for me to hate. We all have our flaws but we can't indulge in them and look for acceptance just to make ouselves feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Its bullshit. Whether gayness is genetic or not is up for debate. So far there is no conclusive proof that it is. Even if it is, its an illness. And a society that gives in to its weaknesses is doomed to collapse.

There is very conclusive proof that it is. I'll try to find the artical. It was in Scientific American, or Discover, something like that. Said that there was an area of the brain that was formed differently than heteros that affect sexuality. You cannot cure what is, in effect, a genetic variation.
As far as empirical studies go, Alfred Kinsey determined that:(sic) In the field of sexuality identification, everyone falls somewhere on a scale. 1 being completely hetero, & 5 being completely gay. Most people are towards one end, or the other, while many of those that fall nearer the center live a life denying their inclinations
BTW, I've known 2 men who are 100 % homosexual. One is flaming, the other is not. The guy who is not went through a series of relationships & decided to become celibate after finding out most other gays are drama queens, LOL. He has no interest in children & he's baby sat his nieces & nephews many times. The guy who is flaming, ironically, went to college, got married, settled down, & had 3 kids. Then he came to the realization he was living a lie & accepted his sexuality. He is still a friend to his ex & a good father to his girls.

It's the hypothalimus. And I agree on the mindset issue as opposed to just being a fucked up person. So many have tried to kill themselves instead of accepting who they are and living happily. That's our problem, not theirs, IMO.
 
A large number of gays are made that way through some sort of mental ilness.....Not exactly born that way......I would say maybe 95% are just mentaly ill as oposed to born that way.

Nothing wrong with homosexuals. So I dont agree with their lifestyle, but it is not my life to decide. I am not at all threatened by them. Some homosexuals can be extremely funny and cool to hang out with.
