Case in point…a study published in Lancet, England showed that lifestyle changes, like those mentioned above, reduced diabetes by 50% compared to medication that reduced it by only 31%. Said another way…natural methods that nourish the mind (intellectual stimulation; doing something you like that makes you feel worthwhile); body (eating balanced meals and doing some form of activity that you like) and spirit (being around people who make you happy)…were more effective at reducing diabetes rates when compared to medication. That’s how powerful lifestyle changes are!
