Bulking

Hey everyone. I've been lifting on and off for about 5months on and off now. Made a few good newbie gains but nothing special. I've decided that I want to start lifting seriously now but not sure how to bulk properly. I need help with a workout and a bulking diet.

I know it's a lot to ask but any help would be appreciated.
 
go on the training board, and look at the training stickies...there are some great bulking programs there, as far as diet, you want to exceed your daily caloric maintenance values by enough so that you'll gain each week... maintenance for an average metab is around bodyweight x 15....
 
Eat/drink constantly. Milk, eggs, fish, ground beef, pasta, whole grains, fruit, vegetables, candy (yes, candy), fruit juice, protein shakes.

Make sure you're getting plenty of protein, then on top of that just eat anything with calories.

I'm a big fan of liquid calories. I hardly drink much water now, except during my workout. Milk, iced tea, veg. juice, and fruit juice. It's easier to drink 1000 cals than eat 1000 cals.
 
go to www.fitday.com.....find the foods you eat....then take your bodyweight X 18 find out how many calories...thats how many you should take in then use fitday to get these calories and make sure you are getting 1.5 x bodyweight in protein and a lot of carbs......and hit the weights hard and sleep a lot
