you guys like those lines for the bench on mondays? join the club.

i can guarantee you this....the squat racks collect dust on mondays. generally people hit chest on mondays, wait til wed and then the squat rack is used for doing "heavy curls". if you follow the universal workout program of 3x a week. chest on monday, arms on wed, and back shoulders and arms again on friday...just before the club.

LOL. ahhh.

i have to come late at night or just do it on tuesdays or thursdays.

sometimes i can rassle it from the older folks during the daytime but instead i just prefer to do legs. LOL
 
I work my chest 2x/week. But, I don't work my legs. I'd rather just wear long pants! he he he:)
 
there you go may...there is why you arent growing anymore

legs are half of your body...and you wonder why you cant get over 170?

squats cause the body to grow so much. its so much stress that the body has to adapt!

i have found one of your growth inhibitors.....

now on to diet.....:)

There's usually a 3-4 day stretch between chest workouts. Why is that not a good regimen? Are you suggesting that I'm not giving the muscle fiber enough time to repair itself? Please elaborate. I'm here to learn.

No, I'm not taking any vitamins. I don't believe in them. My diet is pretty good so I think the vitamins are extraneous.
 
you honestly think you are getting all the nutrients you need from food?

are you doing vegetable combining to ensure you get all the vitamins, minerals you need?

eating clean or low fat and having a salad here and there doesnt mean you are getting enough. food is heavily processed these days and loses out on alot of its nutritive value. couple that with whats lost in cooking/overcooking......

vitamins arent a replacement for nutrients, they just fill in the gaps where diet may falter.
 
I'll think about the vitamins but I really don't think I need them.

Can we get back to this mandatory leg workout thing? I hate working legs. If I begin to do so, how many times per week? I might be able to try once a week. I can't tell you how much I hate leg workouts!

What kind of a workout do you suggest? I really hate working out my legs. I really really do.

Also, is 3-4 days between chest workouts too close together? I thought 2 chest days was just fine. Am I out to lunch on this?



P.S. ... and how did you know what a 'fluffer' was? he he he he
 
alright...first...a fluffer? i was in the military...we watched porn all the time and would normally tell some poor sap he was a fluffer.

legs....yes, once a week is fine. hit up 4 sets of squats or leg presses, 3 sets of leg extensions to start. something to get you started, its not long and grueling but will yield you some results and adaptation/growth.

chest...i think 2x a week is a bit much as well. do you train shoulders? triceps? chances are they get a beating and your chest is always tensing as it is with these bodyparts. i only train mine once a week as well.

I train chest on Mondays and Thursdays, with Thursday being the light day. I also switch to dumbells for flat and incline and bar for decline.
 
I can't do heavy deads. Give me six more months though. I think I might have to post a shirtless pic of myself to show you guyz my physique.
 
Yeah what the hell is up with these assholes who all do chest on monday? I usually take mondays off unless legs or back land on a monday in my schedule.
 
Nate, hope on aim for a min....OH, and I worked chest today, but only because I have to start working everything twice a week. Worked them out with bis and tris. I usually worked chest on Tuesdays, though.

may1010....i see that you do chest 2x week, how many time do you work your glutes(the interior portion).....6-7 x a week??
