Yet another tragic death has hit the wrestling world as "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith passed away last night at the age of 39. Smith was on vacation with his girlfriend Andrea Hart in Envereme, British Columbia when he passed away. No other details have been released at this time. From all of us at LoP, we send our condolences to the family and friends of Davey Boy Smith.

Wow that is news. The British Bulldogs were one of my favorite tag teams and look at them now. Dynamite Kid is in a wheelchair and Davey Boy is dead. Sad.

I'm shocked. When I watched the wwf growing up I always paid undivided attention to some of the great wrestlers. He was one of the best.

The Dynamite Kid wrote a book talking about it. He said his years of heavy steroid use and the years abuse to his body in the ring left him paralyzed. I don't know the specifics and lord knows both these guys abused theirs bodies in severals ways but I'm pretty sure the juice didn't help either of these guys out healthwise.

Yes,at one point,he was HUGE...A colorful presence and good guy,he will be missed.
