Hi all,
New here just thought i would share this info that everyone may already know .
USA Customs website allows you to bring 50 dosage units if purchased in a country were its legal to buy without a USA prescription, you can bring more if you have a USA prescription.
And last year I did bring that amount back through customs in my carry on in its original unopened container with a Thai pharmacy recipt and a copy of the rules off the customs website and I had no problem. They want you to declare it but i just kept the declare paper in my hand with a pin to check that box out if i needed to fast but they didnt ask. It would have been fine to declare it though .
This is off US Customs site.
"If a U.S. resident wants to bring in a controlled substance (other than narcotics such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, or LSD) but does not have a prescription for the substance issued by a U.S.-licensed practitioner, the individual may not import more than 50 dosage units of the medication into the United States."
