Some are weary to the fact that Bret "The Hitman" Hart was replaced as Commissioner of the World Wrestling All-Stars group by Sid Vicious merely days after revealing that Carl DeMarco of WWF Canada offered him a position at WrestleMania X-8. Many believe this is further proof that Bret Hart has re-considered, or the "telephone call" that Hart referred to in his closing statement of the column from the Calgary Sun took place and things went well.

Bret would look like such as ass if he went back to the WWF after all the shit talked on Vince. Not that has stopped anyone from doing something.

That would be one helluva a work including the murder on his brother and all. I still kinda wondered that myself. I think it may have started as a work that went bad.

McMahon talks shit about everyone. I remember he talked so much shit about Hogan, and Hogan swore he'd never go back to the WWF, and look at him now. It's all about where the money is... people will follow.

I can't imagine all the crap I read on this thread! A work? Bret would have never accepted to end like this in his last match with the WWF. Bret really punched Vince after the show and he had lots of problems with his own familly, ect. Bret wouldn't look bad at all if he'd come back. The guy is a legend. Just imagine how the place would be if he comes back at Wrestlemania in Toronto. He could at least leave the WWF with a good impression and I hope those two will finally settle their differences. Life is short. The Hart familly and the Mcmahon familly were friends for many many years. Just imagine, this event would be remembered forever if he comes back. The biggest upset in history. Why don't you want to see history happen?! Damn! it woud be good!

Wrestling has got to be the most lame, boring crap on television. Its getting to the point that most sports suck rod-but that crap has got to go..

You know, I am a women's man but I think too much tits reduces the quality of the wrestling programs. The wrestlers have no testosterone left in the ring when they come.:D

I am a huge Brett Hart fan and would really like to be able to see him in action again, but I don't think he will be back

His brother died because of an accident in the ring. He wasn't murdered.

My friend is VERY good friends with Steve Corino - there is a theory that the screw-job was a work that was only known by Vince, Bret and Shawn. Think about it. Why didn't Vince arrest Bret for assault......

I would LOVE to see Hitman back.

And I would LOVE to see El Dandy back.

I think it'd work out okay.

A lot of time has passed.

Both sides said a whole lot of shit.

But that's business.

You don't enter the wrestling business to have a secure job.

You do it because you love to do it.

Bottom line.

I hope it works out.

And I hope he returns.

Bret Hart is still the best ever. I would be exstatic to see him return, but I'm doubtful. Maybe the original episode was a work between them....but the rift that happened when Owen died is something that "just" money isn't going to damn well fix. Bret doesn't need any more money either. The guy is already set for life. Anyway, his return would offer ALOT more interest than the NWO's return. God hasn't that been a joke?? Except for Hall those guys have only wrestled once, and except for Hall, they looked like crap in the ring. Nash and Hogan cannot work a match. I felt sorry for Stone Cold and the Rock on monday. THey were trying to put on a good match and put over the NWO's moves......but Hogan and Nash looked PATHETIC trying to put over Austin and Rock's stuff. But we all knew that was going to happen anyway......the WWF guys are way over the level of the WCW guy's. I personally would disband these guys and set Hall off on his own, he's the only one that looks even half way polished. just my .02

yup.....the other two looked better from a physical standpoint....but god are they pathetic in the ring. Especially Nash, he can't even fall out of the ring smoothly. And you could see him cover up for a Stone Cold chair shot before he even could have even possibly seen the chair......amateur. Those guys don't even belong in the same ring as Rock and Austin.

lol, as long as I recall Nash would always cover his head when getting hit by a chair. And when rock tried to knock him over the top rope...... well that was just plain pathetic seeing Nash trying to fall over. Hall carried the whole NWO for that entire stupid match.

I agree.

They really didn't do well. They don't seem to know where they are in the ring now.

Hall does pretty good, but I hate how he does the Stunner... looks like he's afraid to fall on his ass.

I don't know how well Hogan is gonna pull the match with the Rock... I try to picture him taking the spinebuster, before the People's Elbow... and I can't picture it working like it should.

Although he did do okay on the Rock Bottom.

But hey... no matter how he does, the buyrate for this PPV will be incredible.

All because of the man.

I wonder what Nash's role at Wrestlemania will be.

So Val, I've been dying to ask ya:

who do you think is going to win the Rock/Hogan match?

Will this be a passing of the torch a la Hogan/Giant?

no way. there will be some interference. Vince is gonna drag this thing out as long as he can. I wouldn't be surprised if Shane O' Mac showed up to help Hulk get the win.

See, I'm hoping for a clean finish, with Rock getting the pin.

This is the first PPV I'm springing for, so I hope it's a good one.

I really can't say.

If it's a clean win, it'll be the Rock.

I don't think the torch will pass yet. Not with Hogan being so new.

The crowd is about 30-40% on Hogan's side, as you heard the cheers when he pinned the Rock on Monday.

Normally when one guy gets the pin on the other guy before the PPV, it means it'll go the other way.

Hogan beat Rock pretty "clean" on Monday. Which shocked the hell out of me.

I'm hoping for Hogan, so the feud can continue... but I wouldn't think they'll "pass the torch" just yet.

If Rock wins, the fued will continue. If Hogan wins, the fued will continue. I doubt this will drop. It's too profitable. Unless the match sucks.

As long as it draws, they'll keep it alive.

Hogan SHOULD take it. As that keeps the story alive better. So he can come out and boast, and make people hate him more.

I dunno, given that this is Wrestlemania, and Hogan can't seriously expect to wrestle THAT much longer, I kind of expect Rock to win cleanly.

It's a great feud. I love seeing the 2 of them in the ring, although Hogan really ought to cut off the skullet.

I believe he should go totally bald also. I think it'd kick ass.

The Rock thus far is predicted to win.

But come on... with Nash, and Vince there to possibly play a part... who knows.

They gave Hogan a lot of credit on Monday, beating the Rock.

Normally, that would mean that Rock will win on Sunday.

But again... this is Wrestlemania, and they need to really keep the fans interested.

The Rock winning their first match one on one would take a lot away from Hogan. If they did that, what would they do with Hogan then?

If Hogan wins, via a screwjob, the fans will want to see the Rock get vengeance.

The only problem is, if Hogan wins, everyone knows it'll be with a run in of some sort.

That's why this is hard to call.

The Rock winning clean would be a good site.

It just wouldn't make sense to me.

Well, the only reason it makes sense to me is that they've built this up as a "greatest wrestler of all time" match, and given that Rock's got quite a bit of time left in the ring compared to Hogan, it seems like they'd want their marquee player ahead of the old-timer in the fans' eyes.

However, you're right about the run-in, but I'll be really pissed if that happens. A huge match like this only to have it spoiled by a surprise run-in. Ugh.

BTW Val, good to see ya on the boards!

Clean win????

Can anyone tell me that last time The Rock did the People's Elbow in a match an then won immediately after? I'm beginning all the wrestlers petitioned Vince saying it a humliation move that they should never be beat with.

I think it's wack how they are portraying :

Hogan VS Rock , to determine the BEST ever.

Silly Fucks.

Hogan is 63 years old and Rock is like 29.

To determine who would be the best ever, We would have to bring back Albert Einstein take him to Edwards Cinema, let him watch the Time Machine 7000 times until an idea finally sparks in his head on how to make one.

Then start teleporting through time.

Then and only then, can we determine the Best ever -

- But little do you guys know, I have the key. I have the key to Chester Copperpot. Yup, you better believe I seen g00nies 9,000 times too.

I'll simplify shit for everyone.

Hogan is the best ever.

EVER.

Understand?

This is how I'm going to rank all the wrestlers,

1) Hogan
2) Ultimate Warrior
3) Bret Hart
4) Brutus the Barber
5) Ricky the Dragon Steamboat
6) Badass Billy Gun
7) Crash Holly
8) Rock
9) Austin
10) Mike Tyson

Do not try to disagree with me on this. Because I am right, and you are wrong.

Hey jerk, don't argue with me when you know I speak the Truth.

Jk you're not a jerk sweetheart.

Love,

Crum.

The important part here, is that you understand that Hogan is the best ever.

About the rest of your list... well... I won't say anything about that, because again, you understand that Hogan is the man, was the man, and will be the man.

He made the sport what it is.

You are a very smart man.

Praise the Hogan.
