Glavine is pitching FOR the NY Mets against the Altanta Braves. If any of you know anything about the Braves, you'd know how plain weird that is.

Anyone with allegiance to a particular team is dillusional. The players don't give a FUCK about team loyalty, and neither do the owners. If YOU as a consumer are loyal... you are rooting for a brand, not a team.

I liked Glavine when he played for Atlanta... until he was so vocal against John Rocker, after Rocker made negative comments about New Yorkers. Later I learned that Glavine is routinely the most outspoken player's advocate during strike talks.

I'll be happy if he gets his eye knocked out by a line drive.
