Bow Flex

I have heard a few people who have used them say they will really give you a work out. Still not free weights. I thought about it for my home gym but got a used smith machine a lot cheaper and iron is better.

I saw that damn infomercial a year or 2 ago and ended up buying one(mistake). While I believe it is ok to use once and a while, I would not use it if I had a choice. The nice thing about it is your workouts don't take very long. Paid $1400 had it a year and sold the damn thing for $400.

If ya can get one cheap and need a home gym, it might not be bad. But I'll stick to free weights.

tried one at the store, i made up my mind to buy one from the infomercial, just had to test it out to make sure, i walked out not wanting one, most of the movements felt kinda jerky, and it wasn't as easy to roll as i thought to put away, i ended up buying a power cage, bench, lat machine and dumbells, and about 700lbs total weight, total cost was still alot cheaper then the bowflex, i think the bowflex was around 3500 CDN, and my weights cost around 1700CDN

I use mine every now and then, but IT CANNOT COME CLOSE TO FREE WEIGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I have it maxed out 410lbs and it isn't enough for a lot of exercises.... Good when don't have time for the gym though
