NO its not, its mainly fat so it wont help you gain. Some people believe in what is called a fat fast. Something like ten days where you limit caloric intake to about 1000 calories a day at 90%fat 10 %protein. Some say that there are experiments out there that compared this to a complete fast (no food) over ten days at a Naval hospital. I cant remember the numbers, but something 20 lbs for the complete fast lost with 90% was lean body mass, the fat fast was 14lbs 90% was not lbm or something like that. So unless you want to do the fat fast and you have the will power to actually do it, then I think bologna is a god awful diet food and offers nothing but saturated fat to your diet. Not good. Others who are on a low carb diet can use it though to block cravings for carbs and dull the appetite, but this is for diet specific since low carb diets use different metabolic pathway to derive its energy.
