Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below ok so my last injection in my glute hurt like hell for almost 2 weeks so i figure time to give it another try. So i put the needle in and pull back. blood i pull back more, more blood. so i take out the syringe and drain out the blood. Now here is my question can I still use the gear in the syringe? Also the blood was like it had oil from that last injection in it. I dont know if it is just me being paranoid or what. Is it possible that the last injection wasnt absorbed? Also what are the signs of an infection. I have no pain anymore so i dont think that is it

bro be fucking carefull you hit a vein not so bad did you or did you not inject the gear? if you did then that might not be good. if it ever happens again pull the needle out and never never inject if you already had blood in the syringe. but it is safe to inject after. i would not inject the same stuff, cause that's not safe. but after that make sure you watch where you're shooting. cause you don't want to hit that same spot. hope this helped.

I don't think that it would take that long for it to absorb dude...2 weeks??? nah. You weren't really clear in your post so let me try to understand this. You stuck yourself 2 wks ago and it hurt like hell. You tried it again, you aspirated and blood was there (meaning that you hit a vein) I wouldn't use the gear again because from what I'm thinking you haven't used it yet and probably haven't kept it sterile. Signs of an infection, fever like symptoms, warm to the touch, and redness on the site (but that doesn't always mean it's an infection, just could be irritation)

More than likely a hematoma. Those can take a while to heal. Some of the gear probably got trapped in it and that's why it looks oily. It doesn't sound like you have an infection (fever, tenderness, erythema). As far as injecting the gear that had blood in it: If it's been sitting around the answer is no. If you aspirate and see a little blood STOP, pull out and either use a differnet spot on that glute or go to the other side. You can use the gear with blood in it then. The problem with it sitting around is it will begin to clot and you don't want to put that back in. Hope this helps.

I've had this happen to me before. Turned out I had an abcess. My ass was sore and I jabbed and aspirated. Some blood and some other oily stuff was apparent when I aspirated. Took me three tries to find a spot that didn;t draw blood when I aspirated. Then I ended up injecting into the abcess which made it worse. Course I had no idea it was an abcess at the time. Live and learn.
