Big or Strong?

To get better...I'll have to get stronger...which will, in turn, end up with me being bigger.

I may not be as big as many people think that I should be...but still. At 6'2" and 290 pounds...you can only cram so much muscle on my frame. I'm still a fairly large person.

yeah you runt of the litter!

Big. I only care about hypertrophy, not strength pound per pound or function. Obviously I try to progressively up the weights I use but that's just a means to an end. Strength doesn't always equal size. The most I have ever done of front squats is about 315 for 7 reps which is not a lot for a leanish 230 but it doesn't matter. I've seen some powerlifters who could do way more than I and still their quads looked like shit in comparison. To each their own.

It may just be a complex or something, but when I look into the mirror I don't see a "huge" guy, like people tell me (6ft 220lbs 12%bf), but when I lift I can see by the weights that I throw around that I'm pretty damn strong. I have friends that look bigger then I am, but when we hit the gym it's the other way around. So in the end I'll run with what it seems like I've been dealt: STRENGTH!!

Strength and explosiveness.

My reasoning is in the way that u may look big as fuck but if you can;t move any weight that don;t mean jack.

What if you are a bodybuilder? That is a whole different type of training.
