Bi-weekly training?

So I was reading Muscle & Fitness at a Walgreens the other day (yeah, I know) and they have this column called Power and Strength where they were running an article called Bi-weekly Power Surge. It featured the training of a canadian strongman by the name of Karl Gray. According to the article, the 172-pounder is wickedly strong and has curled 330. As I remember it, the biweekly workout he performed consisted of several heavy compound exercises on which he only performed a warm up set of one rep w/50-60% of 1RM and one work set of one rep w/90-100% of 1RM per exercise with 30 sec rest between sets. Now, to me, this sounds really unusual. Anyone know anything about this guy or about his training methods?

No but the bi-weekly thing has me confused as this term has different meaning to differenent people.

Is he doing this workout twice a week or is he doing it every two weeks?

he is doing it once every 2 weeks, i read the article too, was interesting, to think you can make such gains once every too weeks lifting

Yeah, even if it is feasible to make such gains (which I question) you would think there would be a huge risk of injury.
