best way to train after coming off cycle?

i got one more shot left (:(), so my cycle will be done in a few days. what have you found to be the best way to train before clomid and during clomid?

just because you are off cycle it doesn't mean you should train any differently, the intensity should still be there, don't slack

eat and train the same as you were on cycle, at least until the clomid's done with, then diet or do whatever you were doing before the cycle. Remember, it's a LOT easier to overtrain while off cycle.

I totally disagree. If you stuck with a routine during your cycle (10 weeks etc) time to switch it up and do something different. This does 3 things.....1 you should provide some variety to shock the muscle, 2 keeps workouts from getting stale and 3 it will prevent you from walking in the gym every day and trying to compare where you are at vs. where you "were" when you were on. That can kill ya mentally.

I say do something different but DO NOT change the intensity by any means!!! bust ass....just do something different.

Your training post cycle should be either less frequent or less intense then on cycle. On cycle you had superman amounts of T in your system. Post cycle you have basically none at all. Not even your normal off cycle amount. It does not make sense to try to train post cycle as you did on cycle. As your endogenous T comes back then maybe you can increase the intensity or frequency but still not as high as on cycle.

Train only as intensely and frequently as you need to keep as much of your gains as possbile. You are trying to maintain in this phase not gain. Keep your protein intake as high as on cycle even though your training is not as tough since your bodys ability to use protein is now not quite so good as on cycle.

im with magdalena take it a litle bit easy when you come off the cycle until you test production is back... at least the week off until clomid theraphy begins, i find this works best....

i agree. i like to and as someone above mentioned, about changing your routine up: that can also be very beneficial. i'm sure some of you have heard it, it's called the confusion principle. you should be practicing this all the time, but off cycle, everything is much more delicate. diet needs to be perfect, and training needs to be perfect, or you'll go downhill fast. for the diet, i would drop the fat cals a lot almost to nothing, keep carbs and protein up. especially carbs for a couple days to shock the thyroid back into full effect so you don't get that fat rebound.

and for training, in addtion to doing something new, drop the volume of your workouts. no more two hour intense workouts, because all that will happen is cortisol levels will shoot up, and with little testosterone to begin with, overtraining can diminish it even further. this will throw you into a completely catabolic state. so, i keep my workouts to intense as hell, but no longer than an 1:15 to 1:30 tops. i like to drop out deadlifts mid cycle, and throw them in about 5-6 weeks post cycle, right when your body is having the most difficult time. deadlifts, squats and bench presses are the best movements to stimulate natural growth hormone and testosterone production. they are also great for overall strength and power. but again, keep the workouts short! too much cardio post cycle is especially bad. if you want to lose a bit of fat, make your diet impeccably clean, and make sure you're working hard in the gym. burn the calories in the gym, not on the stairmaster or out running or whatever. running is the fastest way to take an inch off your arms out there. be patient, and most and stay dedicated. a lot of people even stop lifting post cycle...well that is the dumbest thing in the world. what better combination to maximize muscle losses than to come of steroids, stop lifting, and commonly, let the diet go to hell as well.
