DEXA body scan but its expensive and you won't be able to test it daily or weekly realistically.
water tank would be next but it also costs and it may not account for stuff like bone density.
bf% calipers you hold are within a radius of your bf, but you would need to test a lot over a period of time to get an accurate range of where your bf is.
and finally posting up a few pics of yourself on a board like this will give you an idea of where you might be perhaps just as accurate as anything out there. bro's on here are good at analyzing your bf based on pics
Id have to disagree with u on this one and say its more of a guessing game looking at pictures... What would be intereating to see tho is somebody posting up pictures of themself and starting a poll of what there bf% is and then getting it tested a couple diff ways just to see how far off many of us are at guessing.
Hi all
There are so many ways and calculations out there...
Just wanna check what you think is the best and most accurate way to measure your bf %
Thanx
bodpod is accurate and usually pretty cheap ~$30
bod pod1)DEXA Scan
2)Hydrostatic weighing
4)Caliper test by someone who doesnt grab your muscle and say.....here ya are....(Use as many sites as possible, not the 3 site routine and take it 3 times and then average them out)
5)Bioelectrical impedence(This can be off due to water/AAS cycles.-Not the most accurate but at least it gives ya something to go on.
bod pod
i have never heard of these. i was at a little gym in town today and they had a device that you held out with both hands(sound familar?)......it read 15.9% trying to get down to single digits so i guess i have up the cardio more and tighten up the diet
