every single thing you consume gets converted into energy in the body and either used or stored. that is why you see so many fat people walking around, they store and store and store.
so it is absurd to think that fruit is the reason they got fat. fruits are what humans first ate.. it is even in religious books (adam and eve eating the apple). so to act like suddenly fruit is our enemy is extremely ignorant
the best fruits are going to be local and organic. those will have the most nutrition and least toxins on them
