Looks like we're the same size. I'm 6'2, 240lbs. waist is around 35 inches. I'm no expert at leaning down, but, here's how I do it. I personally don't count calories or carbs or protein.
Breakfast:12 egg whites with 1 or 2 whole eggs. 1 cup of plain oatmeal with flax or peanut butter. Lots of water.
Snack: 3 scoops of whey with water
Lunch: 2 chicken breasts, 1 medium sweet potatoe and green veggies.
Snack:3 scoops of whey with water
Dinner: 2 tuna steaks, 1 medium sweet potatoe, veggies
Snack: can of tuna or chicken breast or 3 scoops of whey with water.
Drink lots of water. You should be pissing every 30 mins.
I don't change my workouts, I just go with slightly higher reps.
The last ten pounds are the hardest for me to lose, so, when I'm about 10-12 pounds from my target weight I start doing about 3 or 4 sessions of cardio for 30 mins each
