is there any type of diet in particular you recommend for females trying to lose weight and at the same time gain lean mass? most of diets for body builders I see online are more like for man, thank you.

Deffintely I would go for a culture based diet or iifym
The way I follow a culture based diet is
[emoji815]️wherever your from, for example ,Italian, pick foods based on that, just watch salt intake ,sugar intake, and condiments
Instead of regular pasta ,try whole wheat. So pick tour favorite foods in moderation
[emoji815]️iifym. In like it because you get to include dirty foods into your diet. And yiubcan be sneaky with it. Alot of people say you can't lose weight on junk food. Well tell that to my clients. I can send you a picture if you want.
[emoji815]️doesnt matter what diet you choose,as long as you stick to it,remember a diet shouldn't feel like a diet. These ate lifestyles CHOICES not diet.
Message me for any more questions

I would rather suggest the Carb Cycling diet - it works well both for man, and for women as well. It is a very good diet, because it is nor restrictive, so you end up eating most foods, and you don't lose nutrients. Also, it is very easy to follow, so it becomes a way of life for you. I really like it, and it works. You can read more about it here - https://www.evolutionary.org/cycling-carbohydrates

I follow a calorie deficit daily.. for a women you want to aim to be 300 under your maintenance.. find your number googling calorie counter

at some point you want to throw in a refeed day in there to jumpstart your metabolism, then you go back to the deficit

No diet, including the ones mentioned above, are specific to women. Nor should they be. Other than the need to adjust calories (most women tend to be smaller than most men) there really isn't enough of a difference between women and men to have a need for different diets.

As per another thread the only real difference is a need for iron in the diet when women are menstruating or pregnant (a recent article suggests the eating for two thing is wrong).

I'd like to see any science behind a dietary difference. Without it it's just marketing.

The same diets work equally effective for men and women - the only difference is that women should eat less because they simply weight less.

I am a big advocate of carb cycling like @lev butlerov suggested.

Carb cycling makes a lot of sense. Both scientifically and in a real world sense. No one will question the fact that carbs are anabolic. The problem with carbs is that too much of them will simply get you fat.

By carb cycling, you get the best of everything. The low carb days are fat loss focused and re-sythnesis muscle insulin sensitivity and the high carb days are very anabolic and replenish depleted glycogen levels.

There is no difference as far as male/female diets. All you want to do is stick to something that you enjoy. The reality is that all diets will work if you stick to them. For me, I hate low carbs because I feel like shit so I don't run that. I know I wont stick to it. What I like to do instead is more of a carb cycling approach where I eat more on heavy lifting days, and less on off days or light gym days.
