best choice(while cutting): oatmeal w/whey or cherries w/ whey?

What would be the best choice(while cutting): oatmeal w/whey or cherries w/ whey? The benefits would be the same in terms of fiber?
 
I would definately say oatmeal with whey protein. You need complex carbs while cutting and good high quality protein. Cherries tend to be a little more high glycemic and contain fructose.

though cherries are gonna be lower on the GI, like BB said, it's gonna have fructose which might not be so good cutting.

but you've given me a great idea!

Cherries, Oats and whey!! Now that sounds Yummy :P
 
i would say the oats and the whey, for a couple of reasons. First of all, i have never been able to get lean eating fruits regardless of the gi index and whatnot this is my real world experience. Second of all the oats have been shown to fill you up and reduce cravings later in the day.-josh
