By the way may you please explain your workout split? Is all the upper body on one day? there is like 13 different exercises for upper body, thats why too much for one day, isn't it?
7 exercises for 3-4 sets each was what I did at sixteen, but with very high intensity as a was a competitive power lifter. That's what I would recommend, and honestly I'd be pretty dead 12-15 sets in, it doesn't take much if you really squeeze every bit out of every rep.
