so i just remembered that in college we had to sit through some "alcohol is the devil" lecture and i remember that they mentioned something about alcohol fucking with your blood sugar. and then i started thinking about how beer is pure carbs. so what about beer as part of the PWO insulin spike formula?
what's the glycemic index on a english ale (bass, newcastle, boddington's)? is there a website where you find out the nutrional content of beer? what about sammy smith's oatmeal stout?
i know you use dextrose in the making of beer. so maybe i could throw a couple scoops of protein powder in a sammy smith's and be done with it!
all i know is that would be fucking sweet if beer works in that fashion, but it sounds a little too good to be true.
