Beer or Hard stuff?????????

Drinking on a carb-up tho should be ok right? I mean its empty calories but most beers or mixed drinks have around 15 carbs in each bottle! And it wont hurt my fat loss im thinking

food and alchol have a sinergic mechanism for fat gain!!
when I went to mykonos, only drinking and proteins was really good for fat loss(I don't know why, because alchool is empty calories and suppresses metabolism...but,thrust me!!).
the next year in ibiza, less alchool and more food....great fat gain!

You should probably go with beer if you absolutely have to have a drink, but make it a light beer.

The reason I say this is because liquors such as vodka, scotch, etc. are composed primarily of simple sugars such as glucose, glycerol, and maltose. These monosaccharides are very quickly absorbed into the body, which will cause an insulin spike, the very thing we all try to avoid unless it's directly post-workout.

My suggestion: Unless you want to make a post-workout shake by mixing protein and some hooch, stay away from the stuff. It's fine to have a drink every once in a while, but don't make it an everyday affair. Enjoy!! ;)

Damn, I always thought straight liquor or liquor mixed with a diet drink were your best options :o
