BCS squabble

The first edition of the BCS rankings came out yesterday, and as usual, people are already bitching. These are the rankings:

1- Oklahoma
2- Nebraska
3- UCLA
4- Miami
5- Virginia Tech
6- Texas
7- Michigan
8- Maryland
9- Tennesee
10- Washington St.

It will work itself out. Oklahoma plays Nebraska this week, someone will slide. Virginia Tech will play Miami in the up coming weeks, someone will slide. Then you have the Big 12 championship game, and the SEC championship game.

Team to watch out for is Florida. If they win out, and win the SEC championship game, they will be right back in the national scene.

The rankings look fine although I have no faith in Pac 10 teams so I don't see UCLA being there long. I agree though, everything will take care of everything. It's very possible that every team could be going into the bowl games with a loss. I think Michigan and Florida have the best shots at it all unless Miami beats Va. Tech. We'll see soon enough.
