Just got done playing like 4 hours of basketball, and I must say god i love plyometrics ;). I've always been pretty naturaly fast/agile, but now..geez o peets ;)... It must be a mixture of all the squats, Oly lifts, band training and plyo's, but I feel soooo much faster, i can jump so much higher, it just feels great. This really had no point, I was just happy and wanted to say thanks to everyone, especially those that have helped me along the way. :) I love you guys/gals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Plyometrics are exercises that involve "loading" a muscle before using it explosively. They are designed to improve speed and power/explosiveness.

Things like stepping off a box and immediately jumping as hard as you can when you land, power-skipping, jump squats, etc.
