Is the World Series a big deal in your neck of the woods? Here, it barely makes conversation around the water cooler. I guess that is largely due to the fact that i live in Canada.

Just wondering.

The dudes I work with are Canadian (the guys in my immediate room) and they talk about hockey all the time, but they also play fantasty football, play videogames of all the sports, play baseball now, and are following the games.

They are way more into sports than me - but occassionally when they want the American view on things they will yell over to me and ask some random thing - like if being called a "Yankee" was an insult.
