I just ate the most delicious breakfast - what is your opinion from a ckd/nutritional point of view?
Mix one raw egg with 1/3cup plain non fat yogurt, and one splenda. It had the consistency of a thick pudding and was delicious! - Barring food poisoning is this acceptable? I ate it one hoour after my 6 mile run.
Thanks for your input!

not to bad from a ckd standpoint, however non fat yogurt probably has alot of sugar. Also, if your going to do raw egg, be sure to wash the shell before cracking.

What kind of nutrient profile are you looking for? One egg in some yogurt dosnt give you much in the way of either protein or complex carbs IMO (but it might taste nice!) :)

I heard (somewhere on one of these boards) that the nutritional value of an egg is not even realized until it reaches a certain temperature. You may be putting it in there for no reason, unless you just like the texture. It's a little too "Fear Factor" for me though.

Dont worry about salmonilla in the eggs. It occurs in like 1 in every 30,000 eggs!!!! Plus if you buy organic the likelihood is even less for poisoning. The raw egg should be better for you nutritionally. My opinion everything raw will be better for you. Cooking may help the absorbtion of some shit in various foo sources, however ffire always KILLs more then it creates!
