In the Mix, a national PBS series for teenagers, is currently producing a show about steroids and energy/muscle enhancing supplements. They are looking for people ages 14-21 who are either using steroids/supplements or have used them in the past to share their experience. Your confidentiality is guaranteed. On a side note... it would be nice to get the real message about steroids and there usage out there. God knows there is enough propaganda bullshit. Get the truth out.

Hey, I'm 19 years old and started using when I was 18. I've had my share of experiences... I think this will be a great opportunity to voice my opinion.... I already sent them an email.

i am 18 years old, i started when i was 14. hmm. seems interesting, i would really like to stand up.. george, is there any other info you can give us about this program?

i dont know if they could handle me up there.....;) .....they would think i dried out mexico and half of europe if they saw me....:) ......well maybe....only if they can handle me....

I just sent an email too. Finally something some of us can do to help get the word out that AS usage isnt bad when used properly and with precautions. They are probably loving the flood of emails they are getting from us.

Being 19, and using since I was 17, I felt more than compelled to write in to them.

My dad used steroids, but my mom is still partially brainwashed by the media.... She is ok that I use and she isn't, doesn't want me overdoing it, but my dad knows what it's like, and once you start, you can't stop... My dad only stopped due to me being born, but my mom keeps going on how me and him will both need liver, kidney, heart transplants, etc, etc, etc, on and on and on..... I've even caught her reading this board when I left it up on my computer and went to take a shower, or just went to lift and left it up, scanning through all the threads... Sometimes I really wonder how she feels on everything.

Hopefully, this PBS show finally shows the country that steroids isn't what the media, DEA, and FDA have made them out to be.

I can't say I've ever seen the show....never even heard of it.....but I will definately voice my optomistic opinion on steroids.....rather than letting them be totally pesemistic about it!!!

hmmm this is interesting... Well I am 15 and have done two cycles... one was a small cycle when i was 13 of just D-bol, other was 400mg of test enan for 10 weeks when i was 14.. I have grown 1" since then. Guess i am just special

ok just on a side note, how the hell were some of you guys doing steroids at 13 and 14????! thats just plain ridiculous, im not saying i dont believe you but i mean are you guys like 4 feet tall?? wow i feel really bad for your natural hormone levels...:eek:

well you usually first find a supplier and get your stuff. You get syringes and needles and whatever else you need. Then you start your cycle and start injecting/popping pills. Then after your done you take the clomid cycle. does that answer your question? :D

hehe jk.. I stopped growing height wise when i was around 15 so it dont matter to me. (i didn start till 16)

my hormone levels are fine! i am 5'6" and you know what? i was 5'6" at age 12! i was very very tall for my age.
my father is 5'9", my mother is 5'0". i thought i was going to be tall as fuck when i was little, but i hit my max height at 12 and never grew again. no it has nothing to do with the roids either. and my hormones are JUST FINE.
 
haha mike001 how the hell could you have possibly known that you werent gonna grow anymore?? YOU WERE 12! and how can you say that your short stature has nothing to do with steroids? Its a proven FACT that steroids used in not fully developed males have a tendency to stunt growth, it causes your bones to fuse together prematurely.. hey not a flame whatever floats your boat man.

i forgot to mention i have TWO little brothers. ONE was 5'7 at age 13 and never grew again! my OTHER little brother was 5'4" at age 13 and never grew again. NEITHER of them use steroids AT ALL! but since im the only one that has used them, it happends to be steroids that stunted my growth. hmm..
 
no asscrack thats not what im sayin... i was saying that it IS possible for AS to stunt growth. AND by your remarks about "steroids had nothing to do with my height" you just cant know that for sure and it was an ignorant statment. maybe you would have had your moms genes :D

Great idea

Great idea. Let all the young ones show steroids can be used safely and effectively. I'm sure they are gonna hype it up and put it down, but the medical community just doesn't have compelling evidence that AS usage, when done properly is half as bad as it was said to be.

im 22, can i lie and say 21 cause id have alot to say....and i want free access to SELECT if i mention EF & everyone else......they wouldnt know what to do w/ me.....!!!!!:p

A lot of people had no Idea I was only 18 but who the fuck cares right. It doesn't change who i am and what I say...cool sounds like a plan.:p
 
DAMN!!!!! I went thru a whole weeks worth of programming for PBS in my area its not shown here!! I hope someone records this show us older bros will want to see it!!! Pleaseee!!!! RADAR
 
THey emailed me back with a buch of q's saying I meet their requirements for age and location.

Has anyone else recieved a response?...

I was asked last year to pass on a tv show and a radio show to talk about my experience with roids and sports.
Unfortunately they were asking some stuffs that were a lil bit too personal and touchy. ( Like names of athletes on it, sources, coaches etc..)

I refused
