Attention Dog Owners... Why is it that

No matter how Clean you keep your INSIDE Dog, when they go outside in the Summer heat
they come back inside Stinking like,, like,, DOG?

Why is that ? Is it just our dogs?

We have 2 Small dogs and they get bathed every week.
And yet, even the day after they get a bath, they can go outside for like 10 min in the 80+ degree heat and come back inside stinking. It's like a sweaty dog smell yet I know dogs don't sweat.

Just bored and curious...and dying from this Florida Heat !

I always have wondered this---I am sure there is a scientific reason but I dont know it! My dogs love to lay on our back deck out in the sun and they come in and they are STINKY!! They get bathed a lot too---it makes no sense! Who knows!

If you find the answer....please let me know! Same problem here. Two inside dogs and a cat. They get bathed all the time and they still smell like shit. Sometimes they might smell like a fish or something and other times they smell like a fucking corn chip! We have a cat inside and she pretty much takes care of herself by licking and grooming herself all the time and she sometimes licks the dogs when they are laying on the sofa or chair.

Hmmmm...speaking of licking the kitty.....I sure wish the wife was home!

I haven't noticed it with mine and I have two 100 pound Rottweilers.

Of course they pretty much stink all the time so no wonder I haven't noticed.

Dogs don't sweat though, they pant which is their way of regulating the heat.

My dog rolls in everything.....Bugs, dirt, old leaves, pine tar, dead fish or animals.....


And why do dogs have to be in the process of smelling one pile of shit to do their own deed? or is this a "guy thing"?

Do dogs sweat? Mine slobber like a sieve but I can't remember them sweating. If they sweat maybe their sweat is like our sweat and stinks....... my dogs don't use deodrant. They are into that rolling thing now tho.......anything and everything they CAN roll in they DO roll in.
