Some current favourites of mine (bodybuilding on a budget!)

Iceland:
450g of microwavable chicken strips (tikka or plain) £2!
450g of 'Buffalo' Chicken Wings (my cheat meal) £1.50!
15 (sadly caged) Eggs £1.25
1kg of Rolled oats £1

Sainsburys:
520g of assorted microwavable fish - £1.60

Asda:
TWO Whole cooked chickens - £5! :qt:

Cooltrader:
800g of Cod - £3

I'd love if us fellow countrymen (and women) could share where we get our most valuable resource.

Cheers!

ASDA - Extra Special - Yellowfin Tuna Steak in water

(this is great as it is a tuna steak in a foil pack or tin, I prefer the tins, can't deal with that mushed up tuna thing)

They used to be a pound a pouch, now back to 1.44

ASDA - organic wholemeal pitas 50 pence

ASDA - Turkey breast joint, about 800 g for under a fiver.

(can you tell the closest supermarket to my work is ASDA :) )

Green and Black's Organic Cocoa powder 94 pence, again at ASDAs (great to add into shakes, oats in the morning, or I do hot water, cocoa, cinnamon and splenda). Everywhere else it is close to 1.50.

Tesco's Lowfat Bioyogurt - it is ridiculously cheap, can't remember the price right now.

When I was in London, salisbury had some non-fat cottage cheese (salisbury brand) that was cheap and had impressive macros
- 13% protein, less than 2% carbs, and less than 1% fat. CHeck it out
