Asymmetric spinal erectors - help!

sktle

New member
Recently I noticed that my right spinal erector is larger than my left one.

How can I target my left one to even them out? Any suggestions? I have searched the boards and haven't found anyone with this problem.... please help!

These exercises will help balance them out:

1. Deadlifts
2. T-Bar Rows
3. Heavy Rowing
4. Hyperextensions

Don't be too critical. Just train hard and watch them grow.

i have the same problem. and i can even feel my right one working over the left side. if you look at my back when i bend down you can really see the difference. this is also effecting my poaster i find myslef leaning to the right.

I have scolosis, mild I assume. The left side of my erectors are MUCH thicker than the right. I always assumed that it was from years of doing Martial Arts, being right handed/footed, and throwing most of my kicks with my right leg...hence working my left erector more with use of stability...

i think mine is from jumping. cuz i jump more off my right foot(if doing one foot take off) and i turn to the left when im running into a two foot take off (i assumed that thuis made me use my right side more).
