Me and my girl bought some of this, IMO KY is ten times better. This stuff is very thin and gets sticky as soon as the air hits it. I guess its back to Old Faithful (KY).

the consistency of astroglide is very thin, but i'm surprised that it got sticky on you quickly. with equal quantities of astro and KY astro should have stayed "wet" much longer.

if you want other brands of water based lubes you can try wet, ID, jo, and eros. like mrspuddles said, get some pillow packs first to see what you prefer. the good thing about the flavored lubes is that you can switch between intercourse and oral midstream since they are edible.

for silicone (oil) based lubes, eros is the best hands down. ID millenium, wet platinum, penthouse, and spice are also good alternatives. the good thing about silicone based lubes is that they last A LOT longer and don't get sticky. the downside is that it is harder to wash off (soap is required), it has a stronger chance of causing rashes in people who are sensitive to it, and lastly it is not compatible with silicone based toys. although eros claims that you can use their lubes with any toys, i wouldn't try it.

Try 'Eros'. It's pricey, but doesn't dry and increases sensitivity. It is latex safe also. There are several types produced by the manufacturer now, but the black bottle with 'Bodyglide' in grey lettering is still the best.
