Aspirin and other NSAIDS lower COX enzymes, which in turn lowers prostagladin synthesis and ultimately aromatase expression! 325mgs a day is also being recommended to healthy subjects for cancer prevention.
This could be very useful to us. I'm sure it does not suppress aromatase to the degree that an AI would but in cases where a milder suppression is called for this could be the key. Most research on aromatase is done on breast cancer but if you read this study and others it seems pretty clear that COX inhibition lowers aromatase in the human body regardless of cancer being present.
