Arrested for Nolvadex???

ok, i just got a call saying my friend was just arrested for having Nolvadex pills in his truck and since they are perscription meds he got arrested... i didnt know it was illegal to have that, wtf? should he really have been arested for that, is there a way he can get out of this cause this is bullshit? any input is appreciated

It (Tamoxifen) is a prescribed medication and if you have in your possession a prescribed medication without a script then yes, you most definitely will be in trouble with John Q. Law.
 
I had something similar happen. I had a small amount of GHB right after they made it illegal. I was told that I was being prosecuted the same as having heroin.
Not a fun situation.
Its always good to check on the boards what is illegal and what is not before you travel with it be it in a car or on your person.
 
The cops prolly dnt believe him what it is so as soon as the lab results get back that it's not extacy or steroids or oxy or some shit the D/A is going to muck that case real quick....
 
I had all my protein and supplements taken for testing. They tested everything to see if it was steroids. It is amazing how stupid some people are. I finally got it all back and it had crime scene tape all over it. Rediculous!

Since he has nolva I figured he would of researched pct's and decided to go with. and within that search saw that it was a prescript med. there is a reason they don't sell it at wal-mart or gnc.
 
yes it is illegal to have prescription drugs without a prescription. the laws are dumb but they are in place cause people are too irresponsible to use these products correcly. you should never drive around with things in your car. your friend wasn't thinking.
 
Like I said there's no money to waist prosecuting someone for having breast cancer meds without a script... As long as he keeps his mouth shut and gets a lawyer... D/A will prolly lauph bout it seriously
 
how much did he have on hand? Was it in a prescription bottle (even if it had no label)? Was it still in blister packs? Tell him to get a lawyer, it should get thrown out, or at least a minimal sent. with no time. I can get a script for tamoxifen from my doctor. Have him go to his doc for a script for it for his gyno. He may have to give him a few studies he can dig up easily, but he should be able to get it. Then he can say he does have a script.
 
He would have had to tell them what the pills were, (like a fucking moron). Those nolva pills should have no markings, therefore, the officers wouldn't have been able to identify them. If they can't identify the pills, they have to send them to the lab to be tested, which can take months to return results. If it tests positive for a scheduled substance, they would then have to file for a warrant based on the test results. They would not be able to make a custodial arrest on pills that they are unable to identify. Sounds like your friend did himself in!
