From strictly anecdotal evidence, its seems that they are. Including myself I've known at least 6 women who've had two or more kidney infections, but but only one man and his was a time one occurance.
But even if they truly are more common in women, I'm wondering if the disparity is just a function of lifestyle, ie. not drinking as much water as men perhaps. Surely there cant be anything inherent to our physiology that puts us at greater risk of kidney infections....could there?
