I started a routine that indicated I need to do hack squats. I dont have the stuff to perform them. Is it important ? Should I replace it with front squats?
I don't think you should ever replace squats if you can perform them properly.
If you don't have the regular hack squat machine just do squats. They are just as effective if not even more effective.
Personally I do both squats (back/front) and hack squats. One of the best movements for quad size and strength.
