anyone try tabbata training

anyone tried tabbatta, my wife is trying it after i used it to cut and enjoyed great success , i usually did 45 mins in morning on empty stomach but this year my work schedule didnt allow this so after a trainer told me about it i did it 3 x a week and then 20 minutes walking on treadmill , doing this i got ripped in record time -so i know it works for guys -any girls try it / any success ?
 
A Crossfit trainer friend of mine put me through a bunch of Tabata Squats one day. I was so sore afterward that had I not been through that kind of soreness before under Omega's program I would have gone to the doctor thinking I'd hurt my whole lower body.

Instead of regular DOMS I had trouble right away with the stairs in my house. I was OK after about 5 days. This was just with Tabata Air Squats! Very effective at totally taxing the muscles.

I've seen discussions about it in the weight training forum, but nothing in the women's forum of which I'm aware.
 
My buddy in NYC does it. He works out for 15 minutes or so a day. He is ripped and looks bigger too.
 
I have a new iphone app called "Gymboss" It's for timing all kinds of intervals or creating your own. There is a Tabata one already set up on there. Great app! And it's free too.

Kicking your own ass with your iphone doing a tabata workout makes a huge scene but is pretty effective.
