Me and my b/f are moving to Jacksonville this weekend? Just curious is anyone lives there? I hope we find a good gym... If anyone livse there, do you have any recommendations? We will be living in the Regency subdivision...

I am back... We have finally got the internet hooked up... I was going thru withdrawls Jacksonville is HUGE... I am from the country... (keep in mind--- I graduated with 20 people from a school that is PK-12 grade all in one school... And there was only 400 people total) But I LOVED it!!! Anyways... We have found a gym... It seems to be pretty good... Best rates and quality workout equipment we could find... Now all I need are some friends Poor me... lol... If anyone lives in the area... and has any pointers, I would be most appreciative....

According to Mapquest we're 3 hours, 41 minutes apart. Maybe this summer I can make a little road trip! Or if you ever get to Tampa we'll get together. Have you been to Orlando yet? That's not far from ya now either! You're also near St. Augustine now...you may like a day trip there since you're from the country, it's a quiet, quaint little town. Ponce DeLeon discovered the "fountain of youth" there. There's a historical site where he made his discovery...the water's full of sulfer and smells like hard boiled eggs but I drank some anyway...figured I could use all the help I could get!

How are the "girls" doing? All settled in? LOL

Regency...how close are you to the Regency Mall. You can answer in PM if you prefer...I know of several good gyms (if you like commercial gyms).

When I trained at a commercial gym I lifted at Bailey's Powerhouse on St John's. Not too far from Regency...really good facility. However if you want something closer let me know...there are a few in the Regency area that are decent.

Sorry Im a dude, BUT Baileys Power house is the place to go in Jax for dudes the St. Johns location, I lift there as well as several pro body builders...

Go to the Bay Meadows location and ask for Justin he will hook you up on gym memberships. But do it soon he is going in for an operation..

My girl is going on some gear and I was just pondering the board.
