Anyone heard "StoneSour" yet?

I just saw a vid on MTV for a group called Stonesour and it was pretty mellow with orchestration and stuff. Then I come to find that the singer is Corey from Slipknot. What a trip.

I've seen it and heard it. It's OK, I think his voice could do a lot more. Corey has been saying for a couple years that Slipknot is a short term project. Maybe this is a sign of things to come.

Well that just sucks, Slipknot is (was) the shit !

i sampled the cd on cdnow and there aren't any other songs that are real slow like the one that's always on the radio.

Tumult and Get Inside were decent songs, a little more of what i'd expect from corey taylor. didn't really like the rest that much.

Dude, Bother isnt the only song theyve released ... Listen to the whole album. It's pretty good.

As much as I like them, I have to say that I am more faithful to Slipknot. Stone Sour is going to be like making a sequal to a really good movie. I think I am just going to try to pretend that it is not the same person.

Slipknot's only releasing one more album, then "calling it a day." Taylor says StoneSour's gonna be around for 10 or 15 years.
