Anyone ever been on an African Safari?

The Lady and I have been compiling our list of top places to visit and African safari ranks high for both of us. We want to do a bunch of traveling before 'settling' down. I don't know shit about African safari's though. I'm hoping to get some real life personal experiences. Discuss!

But seriously. Nope I have never been on any type of safari I know they have it at DisneyWorld and the San Diego zoo but I know it isn't shit compared to the real thing. I'd be too scared of getting bit something out there and shitting myself to death
