What's up all. I am new to powerlifting.I fell in love with the sport on accident.Last December I lost my right leg above the knee.I need an activity to help me stay fit and lose weight.I found competitve powerlifting for persons with disabilities.It is a Paralympic event and I want to participate.I entered The Endeavor Games in Oklahoma City in June and placed 2nd to the Paralympic Champion.My max lift was 265lb.I know this is not that impressive,but with my current injury I feel proud to have achieved that.I currently am 301lbs,6'2,28%b.f.,and max bench is 300lbs.I would love any advice on any local clubs or any advice on routines.I want to stay drug free.Please help.
