anti-estrogen to get lean?

I am 3 weeks out from getting implants and just started cardio today!!! I ate like shit when I was off and am pretty surprised at how good I still look but lost muscle. I lost my 2 lower abs and well the extra line under my ass is back. no worries I can loose it but I am on dostinex for a prolactinoma and sometimes up my dosage when I want to lean out. Anyone know anything about anti-estrogens to give me some advice? I would greatly appreciate it.

Dostinex is an proclactin inhibitor, not an anti-estero...for those who might be confused by your initial post

Antiestros have really have NOTHING to do with cutting up...

That is strictly diet based, as Im sure you know.

keeping your estro in check can help with some bodyfat. Less estro usually = less bodyfat but it will not get you "Cut" that is all diet like shadow said.

If reducing estrogen was all that was needed to "get cut", then people with prolactinomas would be shredded since hyperprolactinemia causes low estrogen...clearly the opposite is true which should just reinforce what The Shadow said regarding the importance of diet. Put another way, to reduce your estrogen all you need to do is stop taking the Dostinex, but I'll bet money this would cause you to gain fat rather than lose it. Diet is really important!

In any event, I don't understand your goal here. Is it to lose fat before your operation (why). You say you've lost muscle. Are you just doing cardio, or are you weight training as well?

I am just expressing my opinion based on facts and personal experience. With diet, cardio, and years of hard work all being the backbone for anyone trying to reach there goals, there is a place for non otc meds. Nolvadex is very effective at reducing the problem areas on females. Using an estrogen such as Nolvadex to "lower" estrogen in a females body after the first 3 steps are exhausted is a proven method on bodyfat reduction. Now nothing in life comes without a cost so, a person may or may not have side effects but, 99% of the time that is with anything good or bad.
