..not really.

Just wanted to make Y_Lifter drop his head to his desk and weep silently.

But since ya'll here.... Can someone outline a perfect 5 day vacation in Hawaii for me?

Keep in mind, I only have 5 days... I have NO idea of the islands and such and what their attractions are.

Or the alternative locations are :

Vancouver
NYC
Montreal
SoCal
Palm Springs

I have to do a 5 day business training seminar. In any of those locations in June of 04. Naturally I am trying to think of the best place to go and skip the seminar and sight see.

Vancouvers Bars and clubs stay open till the wee hours, the strip Clubs are Insane! Hash bars, city is pretty clean, lots of asians, and Whistler is one of the greatest places on earth for winter sports. not to mention the exchange rate makes hotel accomodations and resturants fairly inexpensive. Oh and the Weed is top notch.

But I still dont recommend giving the ungreatful canucks any of your tourism money....Hawaii is better anyhow, it is especially delightful to send back cards with pics of you on the beach in your speados to your friends back home freezing their anus off.

Kona, HI has gone to hell in the past decade. Still - the site of the Ironman Triatholon is pretty cool. Hilo is across the island - very rainy but much more tropical. Parker ranch is the islands' largest horse ranch.

Cool feature on the big island - rent a car and drive saddle back road. Short cut across the Big Island - goes between the volcanoes, thru a military training ground, and has enough twists/turns/drops to make you lose your lunch. Only bad thing is - not covered for brakedowns by car rental insurance. But definately worth the ride.

Also some world class buffets at some of the resorts. Of course Maui would be better for golfing. The Big Island offers the most - small towns, white or black sand beaches, two volcanoes, waterfalls, and resorts.
