do you guys find that stuff like taking creatine or multi-vitamins, helps your body burn fat/add muscle? I'm guessing it probably wouldn't add a significant benefit after a healthy nights sleep proper diet and exercise, right?

Well hopefully your diet is well off enough to not need a multi V but it doesn't necessarily hurt it either. And Creatine is proven to help with recovery and energy levels, there are many many posts on here about the benefits creatine has. If you do have a proper diet then yes the multi's will be overdoing it to a certain extent. But don't throw creatine in that mix, nothing in your diet can help your body with the gains and benefit a good source of creatine can give you as a supplement. My .02

It would be very hard to eat a diet perfectly optimized to provide sufficient levels of all vitamins and minerals every day.

I don't care how perfect a diet you eat you should take a multi-vitamin and preferably also fish oil and vitamin c, e and some other shit.

Creatine is a no brainer because it works and has assloads of research and studies backing it.

As an example on vitamin c a couple of the foremost experts on vitamin c supplementation recommend from 500mg-3grams every day optimally. The more active you are or the harder you abuse your body with smoking, alcohol, bad processed foods etc the higher end of that range you need.

In order to even get 500mg vitamin c you would need to eat about 7 oranges a day to get that.

Vitamin/mineral supplementation is very beneficial.

Creatine is a definite yes. I always have some on hand. And so far I have found no need to personally cycle off of it. I also take a multi v, along with fish oil and glutamine. But IMO you don't need a multi v to get good results. I do it even though my diet is zeroed in and running pretty nicely right now. It never hurts and you can get a good multi v from Wal Mart for 6 bucks. Not bad on the wallet at all. I was just saying that you can get by without it despite other aspects and that you can't over come the gains I find I have with creatine versus not on creatine.
