Another annoying ab / sixpack thread, do I need to cut more carbs?

That's not why he can't get down to 5. There are lots of guys that get extremely lean on 1.5-2 g per lb a day. You can say all that you want about glucose conversion, but I'm cutting at 1.5 g/lb a day and the fat is flying off.

I think I just heard spatts grinding her teeth.

1g/lb protein would not be enough.

Cobra, go to the diet board and do some reading on MrX's articles.

Keep Doing legs, that will add a lot of LBM to you, up your workouts, and keep eating, it wont be as fast, but you will feel better then if you kill off more calories.

A suggestion try joining a men's sports league of some sort for the extra activity, im trying to join a summer lacrosse league, for that reason and to keep my skills sharp.
 
I'm definetly getting back to squats, and going to throw deads in as well, it just seems like a ton of work every week. Is four lifting days a week plus 3 HIIT sessions too much? I don't know if I can maintain focus with that much volume every week.

No its not a lot. if you want to really drop the weight off HIIT atleast 4 a week. I don't know your schedule but if possible spread it out lift and running atleast 3 hours apart. I do two but im used to it. Do legs and back on seperate days legs tuesday back on fri or legs mon back thu vice versa... Hope this helps at least a little.
