Not really! Okay, I'm finally back on track. Here's my problem. I'm not hungry but I want to eat, bad. Chocolate, crackers, sweets. You name it I want it! What should I do? How can I get this to stop!!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

I hear ya, flexygirl. Some stuff I picked up from this board:

1) tell yourself: "nothing tastes better than looking good/being ripped/performing well feels!"
2) force yourself to undress and look in the mirror before stuffing your face w/ junk
3) look at a picture of some ripped person you admire (even yourself when you were in top form) before stuffing your face

You might also look at WHY you are hungry. For me it is often cuz I am bored. Try to stay busy (I know, easier said than done)!

My secret for when I just can't help it is Bengal Spice tea from Celestial Seasonings. I add a packet of Splenda and it feels like I am eating something. Another option is chewing gum.

Hope something here helps.

Didn't you/ are you still doing CKD?
The way that I won that battle is by avoiding/ limiting sweets for an extended period of time. Then, after a while, I lost my cravings for them all together.
However, stress and hardships were always a time when my cravings suddenly sky-rocketed. I battle/d this by keeping my goals fresh in my mind.
This does not mean that I do not indulge in sweets from time to time. I have simply learned to think before I act and to furthermore to separate my emotions from food.
Good luck to you.

Flexy I can relate!! We just switched computer systems at work & this week the the first week using it for us. We went from 1 windows based program to 4 manual input programs to do the same job. Very very stressful!!

I have been craving candy, etc every day this week & my evil boss has a bowl of fun size bars on her desk! Thank you! Oh & my hubby made cupcakes. Hello -- I'm dieting!

I made some SF Jello but forgot to eat it. So next week I'm going to make sure I have choc protein bars, choc protein powder & SF FF choc pudding with protein powder added. I figure they're all better than candy.

Sugar really is addictive! I noticed that when we switched to using a substitute in our coffee, we had much less cravings throughout the day. But when we ran out and went ahead and used a spoon or two in the morning, we (esp. my husband, who sometimes is less mindful) ate sweets all day long.

Same here flexy. I just started trying to cut myself and am having hell keeping my diet. I'm so stressed out. Between stress and depression, dieting is almost impossible. At this time I don't have a great deal of advice, if you come up with something let me know. LoL If I had a contest or photos I needed to take for an event it would be different.

Hi Bunny!!!! How are you? Anyway, yes I did CKD, but I'm off now.

So, if you wanna know......I got my diet back in check this past week. I did awesome and I lost 2 pounds!!!! My secret this week, was indulging and not feeling guilty about it. Instead of having a whole chocolate bar I had a fun size one. I had lots of sugar free, non fat hot cocoa with water. I had eddy's no fat, non sugar added chocolate ice cream. I made pudding(sugar/fat free) and put it in some angel food cake. I also made a cake that used pudding and jello as ingredients. It was very good but very low in sugar and fat. It did the trick. If anyone wants the recipe let me know. I also started cooking again and making some nice healty meals and bag lunching it. So far, so good. My drive is back and I'm feeling great!
