Anavar Cycle ?

I'm considering doing my first cycle of anavar, and i was wondering if anyone had any advice or experience with it that they'd be willing to share. I've been lifting natural for about 5 years now, and I'm trying to increase my strength and get a little leaner. I read that you should take about .125mcg/lb body weight, and I wanted to confirm if that was acurate or not. I'd really appreciate any advice you could offer. Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't start at that.....maybe work UP to that....much later.

Do you compete? What's your motive to cycle?

I'm hoping to compete next summer. You mentioned you would work up to that. How much would you suggest starting off with? I read that Anavar had minimal side effects for females. Do you think 15mg would be too much? What kind of strength gains did you get? Would you recommend starting with something else? Thanks again

I'd start at 5mg, and play it by ear. You can always go up, but you can't wish you hadn't taken something.

The hardest part is finding ligit var.

If you've never taken var before, as with putting any new substance into your body (assuming you've already done due diligence to ensure that the substance itself is safe), start with a low dose & work up. Var is definitely the "safest" of the choices available as far as minimal sides, sustainable results and "most predictable". But because you are artificially altering the hormone content of your body, your body will react in it's own way. Start with maybe 5 mg for a few days. Move up to 10 and up to 15 if needed. If you are not on a tight contest prep schedule, there's no point to loading heavy doses and you have the time to run a longer cycle and experiment. Because you are looking at working with var, the types of sides you could expect would be oily skin / acne initially. That should probably give you an indication of a good dosage to stick with. Unless you don't mind the zits.

What brand of var were you planning on using? When discussing dosages, you want to make sure you know what dosage each pill or unit is and if it really contains that amount. For example, in testing certain brands (we tested them on EF), we found that some brands were consistent with what they said, some were underdosed & some were overdosed. And some weren't even what the bottle said they were.

True enough. Most of the anavar on the market is fake.

I am on it now. I started with 5 and worked up to 10. I want to go to 15 but I need more so I have to stay at 10 to stretch it out. It made me very hard. My trainer was like, yeah, look at those guns! I was thrilled. I work out 5 days a week with weights and trying to up cardio but I hate cardio. I do it about 4 days a week maybe 5. I am on a very clean diet too. I would say tive it a try. Its very mild. But as far as the breakouts, yes, I got a little but not to much. I hate breakouts! Urgh!
