wasup all

My g/f has done a var only cycle for 10 weeks.

While using the var , she stoped taking birth control pills . ( but we started using condoms to avoid pregnancy )

Ok , now it has been one month that she ended her cycle and so far she has not had her period yet .

How long does it usually take ? We are starting to get worried , but we really used condoms all the time .

So , anyone ?

I lost my period on var. I got it back after approximately 2 months of stopping the usage. If you are worried, have her take a pregnancy test! But the period loss was something that I experienced as well.

It could take months and months to get it back. I never had problems getting it back (I didnt get it while on Var). But I was on BCP the whole time.

Like K said, have her take a PG test to ease her mind. Take the First Response / Early Response one, it is the most sensitive.

thanks all for the replies .

We didn't know that it could take months and months to get the period back .

She is pissed because she feels all the symptons but won't get her period , she feels bloated and now she has tons of acne ....strange thing is that she didn't get severe acne during the cycle only after it ....

Maby women get acne post-cycle. It is a normal response to hormone manipulation. Her hormones are trying to normalize, so all the side effects are to be expected. It is quite possible the ance may never completely go away. Once you manipulate your hormones, they may never be the same again.
