Anavar and breast implants

If you were getting breast implants, would you take a steroid such as Anavar to help your recovery? There is conflicting info on this topic (some say steroids increase the chance of necrosis) and I am looking for personal experiences or opinions.

Thanks in advance!

I have never in all my life heard of someone taking var to help with boob job recovery. From what I know you can't work out for 4-6 weeks after surgery so it would be an utter and complete waist as steriods are for maintaining or aiding in developing muscle well lifting and eating clean.

word. My PS basically said to stay off everything post-surgery. Check w/your doctor.

I don't know 1 single person who took steroids after plastic surgery.

I don't think its a recommended strategy and you will probably have to look high and low for a doctor who would prescribe for that. The general idea is probably based on the "recovery" aspects of var. For ex, it is prescribed for AIDS patients to help deal w/ the "wasting" aspect of the disease.

Oh my GOD! Who ever told you this must be out of their mind! REST is the key to recovery, you can not have any drugs, herbs,or over the counter supplements for 2 weeks prior to the surgery and after. They put you on muscle relaxers, antibiotics, and methyl-prednisone for recovery. It is a minimum of 2 weeks no workouts, after that you can slowly start adding but have listen to how your body feels. Any supplements would be a HUGE waste and mistake!

Aside from the obvious stuff, i.e. the above is what your doc will tell you anyway, I kinda think that the trauma of invasive surgery like that, particularly 'unders' puts enough stress on your body that you don't really need to add in more. Many women experience some sides from various AAS, even including var. Just to keep it very simple, I'd stick to just letting your body handle the recovery as it should. To be honest, the worst part of the healing process esp for unders is just the settling in of the implants into a place where there was nothing before. The "stretch" process is just plain uncomfortable.
