Anavar All Year Long?

greg21

New member
If you had the money to afford running anavar for the entire year, would you do it? Pros and Cons? I was thinking of doing this at 25 mg. a day everyday all year long....of course, running cycles during it as well.

If I had the $$$ to afford anavar all year long, I'd take GH.

I think you would be safe the question is would you want to pay for it?

You would have to have your liver snzymes checked every couple of months also.

no I would not simple because your receptors will shut down after three or four months of the same shit being taken

If this is true, then why does my HRT 200mg/week of cyp keep on working?

Hey Buffdoc, do you just use the 200mg. cyp year round and use it with other gear when doing cycles. Do you think this would be a better approach to use the cyp instead of var?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I dont want to sound like a complete idiot here, but I have a few questions, do you have to take any anti-e's with your HRT, or is the dose not large enough to cause any sides?
Do you cycle on and off on HRT or do you just stay on for life? Is it meant to bring you own test levels back up to normal, or as a lifelong replacement for them?

Wait a minute... I believe the author of this topic is Mr. Bill Gates please correct me if I`m mistaken

SWOLDIER has the right idea....

He is the only one who understand the age-old, time-tested juice formula of

TIME ON CYCLE=TIME OFF CYCLE

Bros, your receptors will shut down in no more then 4 months, thus your body will become "immune" to any further Anavar doses. THAT IS WHY THEY CALL IT A CYCLE. God, how the hell can people speak of cycles on this board if they don't even understand the concept....and if they do, shame on the pros who advise people to go on a possibly YEAR-LONG Anavar "CYCLE". That doesn't sound like a cycle...it sounds more like an Anavar binge. And just like binge drinking is extremely to the body by overdosing it with alcohol, so will a year-long binge/cycle of Anavar wreck your body.

was wondering the same. Not to mention if you care about your liver you'd need to be on either R-ALA or another liver protectant all year long, and after such a long period I wouldn't be surprised if some kind of shutdown happens with your HPTA. Not a smart move IMO.

Again, if this "receptor shut-down" theory is correct, why does my 200 cyp per week HRT continue to work? Can some of you receptor "shut-down" proponents answer that for me? There is a difference between HPTA shutdown and "immunity" to AAS because of receptor downregulation. I thought this receptor thing had been laid to rest some time ago. We cycle to avoid sides, not to spare receptors, unless I'm missing something here.
Greg, I don't know if this is the right approach for you; I'm late 40's, have had my family, and a vasectomy, so I'm obviously not worried about spermatogenesis. Testicle size I manage with HCG. And I do go off occasionally, just for grins, and I DON'T notice a huge surge when I start back again, as though my receptors are refreshed and upregulated.
And yes, to answer you, I cycle "up" off the maintenance dose. The 200/week is designed to give me normal to upper normal test levels, like some of you young bros have naturally.

LOL,receptors do not 'shut down' or down-regulate.Attenuation/adaptation to drugs can happen, but it is via other mechanisms than A/R down regulation,in fact evidence supports the theory of just the OPPOSITE occuring under long term A/S administration.

ADVICE

I am coming from the old-school of lifting, which is to do juice in moderation with a decent cycle off peroid to let your body rest, recuperate and get some clomid in it to keep gains. If you youngsters (and former youngsters) want to cycle on Anavar all year long, have fun making your liver destroyed by the age of 50.

I think anavar year round is a great idea. The side effects are nil because of its makeup, and it isn't harsh on your system.

Speaking from experience... I'd say that long term usage of test or anavar is ok, as long as it is done in a safe manner... granted, extended long term use could result in a shut down of your hypothalimus... but it is my understanding there is a procedure to get it to work again... I could be mistaken however.

Actually,I don't totally disagree with you there Mike, just on the A/R part.I do feel that the H-P-T-A needs a break from time to time for most folks, and that everyone needs to take precautions(bloodwork, preventative meds/supps,etc.)

The receptor theory is not valid.

In my opinion the theory was originated by people wanting you to buy more and more gear.

SUPPLEMENT BULLSHIT ALERT!!!

Slobberknocker, I would listen to the advice on that link you just posted as much as I would listen to the advice of a 110 lb. skinny nerd about power-lifting. Why, do you ask...

IT IS A WEBSITE PROMOTING/SELLING SUPPLEMENTS!

99.9 % of MODS, members and non-mentally retarded people on this thread understand, the "LEGAL" SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY is some of the biggest liars and scam artists around. They just get to operate under the title of "legal" because UNCLE SAM gets a cut of the profits by way of income tax paid to them by these "supplement scumbags".

Also, THE SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY WANTS YOU TO BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN CYCLE/TAKE SUPPLEMENTS ALL YEAR, why? Because the more SUPPLEMENTS YOU TAKE IN A YEAR, THE MORE MONEY THEY MAKE BY SELLING MORE SUPPLEMENTS. Slobberknocker, do you think a non-anabolic, supplement-selling website is going to hurt profits by telling potential customers that they need time "off cycle" for optimum results, and to give the body a rest? I don't think so! Joe Wieder and the rest of the "legal" supplement industry should be sued for all that crap that they put in their magazines that if you eat lots of chicken, tuna and eggs, and live the life of a gym rat, as well as BUY THEIR WORTHLESS SUPPLEMENTS, you can become the size of Arnold S., when the whole time Joe Wieder and his cronies knew all along those Arnold-type guys were on steroids!

So, I would like someone to start a poll... SHOULD JOE WEIDER BE SUED FOR THEFT BY DECEPTION, DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES for knowingly and purposely lying about the results of taking his supplements when he knew that guys that advertised his products WERE ON ALL ROIDS HARDCORE? We need that lawyer, CitruisJuice, to answer this question!!!

I MEANT CIRTRUSCIDE

The name of the buff lawyer/new Mod I am speaking of is CITRUSCIDE, sorry for the spelling error.

You've got to be kidding me. Did you even read the article? And what the hell does it have to do with marketing products? IT'S SCIENCE, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! He even sites books written on the subject in support for his argument. Were the authors of those books trying to sell supplements too? I'm done wasting my time on this. This is ridiculous.

receptors shut down? slobberknocker i have been on either test or dbol or both for about four years now. granted i have had a few short breaks but have not experienced any shut down. this is probably not a great way to juice for many, but to each his own.

forgot what the thread was about for a second. if i could afford it i would love to try a year long anavar cycle.

URGENT

I have done oxandrin for long periods of time - - only side effects is HDL levels DROP big time... dangerously low... minor problem some would say, unless you drop dead of a head attack or stroke which is what can happen with low hdl. have a nice day.

CRAZY JUICE HEADS

Do you you, stupid crazy newbies understand the difference between SANE AND INSANE STACKING, as well as SANE AND INSANE CYCLING!! It's crazy, uneducated juice freaks who care more about looking like some freak like old-school Arnie then about balancing a fantastic, hard core build with good health. If you want to go crazy with year long Anavar cycles, I guess I'll see you guys after your first liver transplant at the age of 40...and then I'll see you guys again in your 50's when you die because your organs shut down, or you just have a fucking heart attack. But I guess being able to bench press 400 lbs. is more important. Some of you crazy-jacked up fucks need to cut the shit, because you are giving us genuine, experienced and educated juicers a bad name. This is why the FEDS came crashing down on AS in 1991.

I'm not debating high doses vs. low doses. I was just disagreeing with your statement that receptors shut down. Then when I posted a link backing up my statement, you blew it off as being propaganda to sell supplements. No offense, but I think you're full of crap.

Excuse me?

But last time I checked, as most posters and MODS will agree, those fucking worthless supplements MAKE PEOPLE FULL OF CRAP! LOL Why don't you go ask Joe Wieder for some advice on how many of his worthless amino acid supplements you'll have to take to get built and cut like Arnie! Weider should be sued for false advertising and deceptive business practices. He told millions of people, through many decades in his books and magazines, that if you take his worthless crap, you can look just like all the guys on ROIDS that are advertising his product, lying to the public and say," WEIDER'S SUPPLEMENTS GOT ME THIS BUILT AND CUT, BUY WEIDER'S SUPPLEMENTS AND YOU CAN LOOK LIKE ME". Then when people would say, "Joe Weider, I've been taking your supplements and don't look anything like the celebrity lifters you have advertising your supplements, so what's wrong?" Weider then states, "Oh, it's not because I'm lying to sell your worthless supplements, it's because YOUR NOT TRAINING HARD ENOUGH (or PROPERLY). WEIDER IS A SCAM in my book, and should be listed on the SCAMMER'S LIST for purposely deceiving the public about the potential benefits of his product through the decades.
